BACKGROUND:

I was born while my family was living on a farm near Fairfax Iowa, S.W. of Cedar Rapids, and grew up in Cedar Rapids in the Czech Village area on the S.W. side. 

EDUCATION:

I received a Bachelor of Music from Coe College and a Master of Arts in Educational Counseling from the University of Iowa. I also completed Post Graduate studies in Educational Administration at the University of Northern Iowa. 

EXPERIENCE: 

I have 19 years of real estate experience under my belt. Aside from this, I was teacher and counselor for 34 years and am also a Veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps. My business experience ranges from being a rental property owner/manager and owner of a construction company, to being an interior and exterior paint contractor, as well as being involved in investment and insurance sales.
 
INTERESTS: 

Aside from work, I enjoy weight lifting and bicycling, boating on lakes and the Gulf of Mexico, flower gardening and taking road trips. 

I feel that my educational background and prior work experience contribute to my success in Real Estate, and I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
